As I've been out and about getting ready for the holidays, I've noticed a trend in teal!

Every winter I find myself changing my look and style as I reach for warm clothes and darker shades. Usually, I wind up with a berry tone as the base of my winter look, as I am biased to browns during the summer. Spring always brings out the color in me, and I was suprised to see teal fabrics popping up more and more on the racks even though it's winter. Suprisingly, when I picked up some new makeup for holiday looks, I chose a 4 color eyeshadow palette with a a gold base, and teal highlight from Loreal called Out of The Blue. It really was out of the blue for my shopping cart, since I am really really prone to berries and browns.

What I'm finding though is that teal works really well for me, and it works with berry shaded lipsticks and browns too.


I picked up a teal tank too and the color is really working for me, and I've noticed it works for others as well. I've seen teal in many forms, sweaters, tanks, pantsuits, shoes, accesories. You can bet you'll see me in teal this winter, what about you?
